The following pages illustrate commonly used acupressure points when attempting to support treatment of simple illnesses at home. These treatments should be considered only as an addition to standard medical care, and are not a substitute for care provided by a physician.
Apply consistent pressure, using either the thumb, the second thumb joint, or the tip of the first or second finger for 2 to 3 minutes on points suggested for specific illnesses while focusing as much healing energy into the contact point as possible.
